If you’re a fan of sweet, bakery scents, Laura Mercier’s Crème Brûlée Body Butter is for you. The sugary fragrance is as delicious as the name suggests – as a bit of a sweet tooth myself, I can’t get enough of it. The ingredient list shows how it harnesses foodie elements, like shea and illipe butter to deeply nourish, jojoba and grape seed oil to soothe and hydrate, plus honey and aloe vera to protect the skin. I massage into skin after baths and showers – the rich, sinks-in-fast formula has really made a difference to my skin, not to mention I smell like I stepped out of a fancy French bistro. J’adore!
Other equally de-lish options include the trendy fruit of the moment, fig, which the clever folks over at Laura Mercier harness in their Fresh Fig Body Butter. Renowned for it’s hydrating and pore-refining properties, the fig scent is a fresher, lighter alternative to the sweeter lotions. The Ambre Vanillé Soufflé Body Crème is a giant glass jar – which happens to look particularly elegant on your dressing table – packed with almond, coconut, vanilla and sandalwood. Plus, just like the others, it smells just as good as it feels on the skin. This one’s a rich, muskier alternative to the more lightweight butters.
